Wynelle Veleria Kerce Norman, 87, of Moultrie, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022, at her home.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 12, 2022, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Kerce officiating, assisted by Teresa Thomas. Visitation will be held one hour before the service. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery.
Born on May 17, 1934, in Worth County, to the late Eddie Willis Kerce and Edna Harris Kerce. In her early life, she was a homemaker and a farmer’s wife. She later worked as a sales associate at CVS. She attended Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Norman; daughter, Regena Darlene Norman; brothers, Aubrey Stripling, and Willis Kerce.
Mrs. Norman is survived by her daughters, Teresa Norman Thomas and husband Keith of Warner Robins, Katrina Norman of Tampa, and Denieen Norman Crosby and husband Keith of Pavo; grandchildren, Jaime Thomas Whitten, Rebekah Thomas Caviness, Jeremy Thomas, and Holly Thomas; great-grandchildren, Daxton Whitten, Matthew Whitten, Quentin Caviness, and Ezra Caviness; brothers, Auburn Stripling and wife Dot of Moultrie, Kenneth Kerce and wife Jean of McDonough, Stephen Kerce and wife Linda of Stockbridge, and Kevin Kerce and wife Connie of Bonaire; sisters, Cassandra Basinger of Milledgeville, Marcelle Wood of Geneva, FL, and Laverne Sutton of Lake Park.
The family will be gathering at the home of Mrs. Norman on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 3:00 PM.
